WINNING STEVIE AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS, USA

24th November 2017

Our Principal Consultant, Dr Sandy Chong,  won four Stevie Awards for Women in Business         (4 Silvers and 1 Bronze) in US recently. The prestigious award gala was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York featuring  1,500 nominations from organizations and individuals, including DHL, SAP, and Accenture, and over 500 business women from 25 nations. Dr Chong is awarded for: 1.) Woman of the Year in Business Services, 2.) Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Asia, Australia or New Zealand, 3.) Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Business Services, and 4.) Woman of the Year - Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations

GLOBAL AMBASSADOR FOR INSPIRING RARE BIRDS, AUSTRALIA

Our Principal Consultant, Dr Sandy Chong, has been appointed as Global Ambassador of Inspiring Rare Birds in Singapore and Perth. Inspiring Rare Birds is an Australian-based enterprise that empowers female entrepreneurs and it aims to see a global community of one million of them by 2020. The goal of the enterprise matches Dr Chong's aspiration of encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting economic empowerment for women as means to reduce poverty and inequalities, especially in the South East Asian region. She will also be serving as mentors for recipients of scholarship from the enterprise.

ELECTED VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED NATONS ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA (WESTERN AUSTRALIA DIVISON)

It is a great honour for our Principal Consultant, Dr Sandy Chong, to be nominated and elected as Vice-President of the UNAA WA division. Dr Chong has a strong passion for bridging between profit and non-profit space – raising funds and awareness for causes that promote peace and prosperity. She brings extensive consulting experience in organisational growth strategies, stakeholder engagement, investor attraction and corporate communication to this new role.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA MULTICULTURAL RECOGNITION AWARDS

14th March 2016

Verity Consulting is honored to be awarded by the Western Australian (WA) government, Office of Multicultural Interests, for Outstanding Individual Achievement Merit Award, and Outstanding Volunteer Merit Award. The award was presented by State Treasurer, Hon. Dr Mike Nahan to our Principal Consultant, Dr Sandy Chong at the ceremony. This recognition stems from our strong advocacy for multiculturalism in fostering international trade and mentoring cross-cultural start-up entreprenuers in Perth.

SINGAPORE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR AWARD

2nd November 2015

We are proud to be awarded the Singapore Management Consultant of the Year Merit Award, a national competition which the top 3 consultants are recognised in Singapore. This commendation effort is organised by Spring Singapore and various business chambers and associations (SMF, ASME, SBF, IPOS, WDA and SBACC). The award was presented by the British High Commissioner and the Singapore Minister of Manpower, Mr. Lim Swee Say, at the gala. The award ceremony is to honor top management consultants and consultancy projects for driving high standard of professionalism in Singapore.

CURTIN ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

28th October 2015

Dr Sandy Chong, our Principal Consultant, is awarded by the Vice-Chancellor of the university to be the winner of the Achievement Award for Community Service. This recognises her contribution made in the field of mentoring young people, particularly women, on entrepreneurship and career development. She is key to improving fundraising performance for non-profit organisations such as the UN Association of Australia (WA) and UN Women through annual IWD events. 

 

"I am extremely humbled to share the room with fellow awardees working in the area of disability, autism and Alzheimer's, children's rights, as well as neurological rehabilitation. I hope to continue bridging the profit and non-profit space and adding value to the community" - says Dr Chong.
